Steve Cadd is head of the Philippines office of Sword Productions, a production company dedicated to serving the Christian community by delivering culturally relevant, cost effective video solutions. This includes producing videos for various mission organizations and entities and full-length feature films with overtly Christian themes. A few that they have produced are Paglingon Sa Kinabukasan, a Filipino take of the prodigal son, and Hinugot Sa Dilim, (Snatched From Darkness), which deals with spiritual warfare. Steve directed both films as well as co-directed Stain, a film commercially released in Mongolia.
Steve has a B.A. in Theater from the George Fox University (USA) and a degree in directing from the London Film Academy. In addition to directing, he is also a performer with three years experience touring with an improvisational theater group called Intermission. Steve is also an active member of Trumpets, Asia’s first professional theater company, having served as board member and played key roles in its many theater productions, First Name, Joseph the Dreamer and The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe.
